Went for coffee with a friend - very unprofessional behavior by the Waitresses. firstly had to wait for ages for someone to come and check if we have an order, when no one turned up had to go to the counter to check if the order needs to be placed at the counter or if someone will come to the table.... in a rude tone (without a smile) was told someone will come to the table. Again waited to be served but still no one turned up hence had to keep waving at the counter to grab attention ….. then she turns up with a grumpy face. Honestly if you don't enjoy your job then please leave. another islander lady was asked by another customer for some water - the tone and facial expression wasn't the great and felt like she did not want the customer to have the water. Being scared that I would get the same treatment I went up to the counter and grabbed a jug of water and glasses myself. While being served the same water lady takes away the jug of water without checking with us if we still need water though we were still drinking..... no conversation and just picks up the jug and walks away and keeps it back on the counter. When leaving I asked the same lady at the counter if they only had 1 jug of water for all their customers ….. Once again with a grumpy face and rude tone I was told YES. Not a word of sorry or question as to why I asked her that question.

Did not have the best experience. First if all I saw one of the waitresses drinking coffee behind the counter which seemed very unprofessional using the cafe's large takeway light blue cup instead of her own. I came in the morning for a few takeaway coffees, however I could not find a place to wait for my order, so I stood far away in the corner where the counter was as I did not want to block the doorway for people entering the cafe and all the tables were full and even if there are tables it would be unfair to those wanting to dine than one person sitting and waiting for a takeaway coffee. I was then rudely told to stand and wait on the other side of the counter. There really should be separate waiting area for takeway orders. When my order was called out I asked the barista who made my order ti clarify which coffee is which as I two same coffees but with different flavoured shots she said "its labeled on the side" in a very abdrupt and snappy tone of voice, usually baristas label the coffee orders on the lids rather than on sides of the cup, it took me a while to find the label as the cup is full of colour making it hard to find the written order. I hope this feedback is taken...
