Flame Pizza — Restaurant in Howick

We ordered 1xBBQ 18” Chicken Pizza yesterday @2:36pm delivered by Uber Eats. The pizza was delivered in perfect condition, though cold with most of sauce toppings on inner top lid. We ordered BBQ Chicken Pizza however, Flame gave us the Beef pizza which we did not asked for. I rang to Duty Manager of Flame Pizza - Omission branch, where we purchased and they informed us to claim directly with Uber Eats. I was not interested in refund of $38.00, rather to have the correct pizza for my children to have decent dinner. Little later the Manager call and requested for a photo of the wrong pizza being ordered online -Beef. Upon her request, I sent the picture of beef pizza, as she promised to replace the correct order. It was very disappointing and disrespectful that she accused me that the picture I sent was from website and she didn’t replied again. My family have been buying Flame Pizza because the children loves the taste. So sad, that the children didn’t had the pizza yesterday, as such the wrong pizza was discarded due to contamination of beef meat. As a Loyal Customer, Flame Pizza has bleached the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, and yet they do not bother to apologize and offer replacement or refund. I don’t recommend anyone going to Flame Pizza - Ormiston, Auckland due to poor, disorganized and dishonest customer service!!! I have wasted my money on...

Disappointed with the pizza. The one we ordered "Bombay chicken" had no taste whatsoever. Waste of money. Paid lesser for better pizzas out there. Staff were unfriendly and not welcoming at all. No smiles, nothing. It's like they didn't want to be behind the counter and serving people. Wouldn't go there again for sure.

Response to owner: Most definitely not returning mate. Not only was your pizza shocking, your own customer service is worse than that! Yes, it is hard and trying times, but that does not mean you compromise on quality. It's not that there were 20 other customers in front of me and your staff were breaking a sweat, I was the only customer there at the time, the least they could have given me would be a tasty pizza with a friendly smile, not that hard isn't it?! I think you need to go back to the basics and retrain yourself and your team to provide some good customer service and make at least a decent pizza.

Im going to be very honest with my review. Personally I always go and buy either the Spicy Italian or pepperoni. They are all very delicious pizzas and I can never get tired of them however they are very expensive. The staff there are alright, they dont really welcome you with a smile but at the same time they arent rude to you. It would be nice for them to welcome us with a little smile. However, I have gotten multiple pizzas that are unswallowable because on how spicy there are. I did not ask them to add additional spice on my pizzas but that was only 2 or 3 times so its a rare occurence. I know you have no control over this but once a white dog came into the store while we were eating, I think that is a stray dog so if that is still in the area please call animal control to make the customers feel safe.
