Teamwork: 0 | Service: 0 | Problem-solving: 0 | Food: 3 I visited this McDonald’s on April 10th around 8 a.m. I ordered a burger combo. The fries were freshly cooked and crispy, but they had no salt. I stood at the counter to ask for some, but despite clearly noticing me, the staff continued to focus only on their tasks. Some even deliberately turned their heads away or avoided eye contact. One person looked at me with a face that seemed to acknowledge something was wrong but chose to ignore it.
The only person who responded was a young woman wearing a headset, and thanks to her, I was finally able to get some salt and sit down.
Then, when I drank the Coke at my table, I noticed it had no fizz at all. I went back to the counter to inform the staff, and a middle-aged man with long hair replaced it. However, the second Coke was also completely flat. I informed them again because I didn’t want other customers, especially those visiting during busy morning hours, to start their day with the same experience. I’m not sure what action was taken afterward.
As I left, I saw someone who appeared to be the manager speaking to a staff member in the café section. Based on the tone and body language, it didn’t seem like a positive conversation.
I understand that every manager has their own leadership style, but based on the food quality and customer service I experienced today, I don’t believe it was effective.
Since this was my first time visiting during this time of day, I’ll consider whether to delete this review or escalate it to head office after my next visit.
I want to thank the young woman with the headset and the middle-aged man with long hair for at least trying to help during a...
Read moreBeing a new store it has a lot of new staff and very young staff. To me it was almost as if they didn't want to be there. Food was amazingly fresh though.
New review guys- 16/02/21 lockdown - Really disappointed with order # 187 today 19.10.53 Used the drive though, the young lady taking the orders was very good, polite and repeated everything back as ordered. Big ups to her!!! Today was the day to try something new so ordered a Large Sailor Dbl Beef CB - requested hot fresh chips. Get home, chips are cold and dry, thought ok let it go they can be microwaved, go to pull out this amazing looking Burger (pictured) and what do I get, a 10pk of nuggets, exciting right, nah! Deep breathe later, decide to ring rather than go back and say something wrong🤐 phone rings like 5x "please leave name and number and we'll get back to you" answer machine clicks over, "we are sorry there is no more space for new messages" 😤... Do you know guys by this time, it's not about the food or the money. I think even if I was just able to leave my name and number that would have been enough, right? By the time someone may have called it's over. I know the team slogs their butts I've seen it. But, come on management pay one of your staff an extra hour every morning to clear the phones. It is not hard to do. Check your page I'm not the only one to mention your phones. On a positive note, microwaved fries🍟 and a tall cold drink did the trick. Kids ate the nuggets, bonus for them. Anyway peeps vent over. Take care and stay safe out there through...
Read moreSo, I’ve never written a Google review before—and honestly, I doubt anyone will ever see this. But if you’re one of the lucky few who happen to find this hidden warning…do not order from this place.
Picture it: it’s 2:38 a.m. I’m starving, the kind of hungry that makes you start dreaming about your food before it even arrives. I place an Uber Eats order, already imagining that first glorious bite. I wait. And wait. And wait. The minutes crawl by. My excitement fades into impatience, then worry, and eventually, a strange form of despair. By the time my food finally arrives at 3:52 a.m., I’m practically delirious with hunger and joy. This is it—the moment I’ve been waiting for.
But then, I open the bag…and feel my heart drop. It’s not my order. Not even remotely close. They somehow managed to take my dreams, crumple them up, and serve me the exact opposite of everything I wanted. I just sat there, staring into this bag of disappointment, wondering where I went wrong in life to deserve this.
They had an empty kitchen, over an hour, and one single order to get right at 3 a.m. They had the time and space to create a masterpiece, but instead, they crafted a disaster. It’s almost impressive, really.
So, if you’re craving not only food but a side of heartbreak and existential questioning, by all means, order here. But if you’re hoping for the simple joy of eating what you actually ordered…run, my friend. Run far away.
I like my meals served with a side of...
