Club Southland Inc — Restaurant in Invercargill City

Got married just over a year ago. When we got there the tables didn't have candles lot or salt and pepper on the table when my sister ( bridesmaid) mentioned it she was given the stuff and told she could do it. T here was not enough food at the buffet myself and 3 other guests didnt have a lot. There solution was to offer to cook more potatoes because how was the cook "to know how much food there would need to be" I said not to worry as there was dessert and platters coming out later. I had to go and ask for dessert no biggie. Then 9 o'clock rolls a round time for platters. Nope the cook has gone home because she was tired from working a long day. ( Normally an understanding person and any other day no problem). I then get told they want to purchase my table ware again awesome saves me a job 3 different times I was told to come in and talk to them about it every time the person I needed to talk to wasn't there. They advertise meals for the first and second Thursday every month. Thursday 11th of August there was not even a cook there they had to ring one to come in and it turned out the meals were bar snacks. Even going through the bar snack menu 40% was not available a poor effort by Club Southland i won't be back in a hurry. Excellent facility great staff and service. Very happy will be becoming a member.

Now am a member still a great place but could do with keeping hours updated on Facebook page frustrating when you go down and it's closed.
