We’ve always been regulars at their Blenheim branch—it’s our go-to spot for Indian food that perfectly suits our taste buds, and not once have we been disappointed. So naturally, we had high expectations when visiting this second branch for the first time—and they truly delivered! The food was absolutely amazing—full of rich flavors, perfectly spiced, and beautifully presented. Every dish felt like it was made with care and authenticity. We were in town for the weekend visiting family and popped into Pinch of Spice on a whim. The food was absolutely amazing! It blows any of the 'best' curry spots in Christchurch out of the water. The entries were delicious, our chicken tikka bits were tender and perfectly balanced. The naan's were light and not oily. As for the currys, they were spectacular! Creamy, but not sickly. The flavors are intense, exactly what you want when you choose what to order. No two dishes taste the same, they are all unique and bursting with flavour.

The lady who served us was very polite, and was even apologising for being busy! Along with the stream of delivery drivers steadily revolving through the doors, it is a true testimony to how good the food is.

Hey, just to tell you guys that this is the best restaurant (and I live in Queenstown) me and 2 friends went, we all agreed that food tasted fresh, the rise like just made and the naan to match the rest, in summary we felt that the food was made with love , my friends didn't know what to have and the waiter asked assertive questions and both got exactly what they want (without knowing it). My asian friend likes spicy, my kiwi friend likes kiwi spicy, me... mild (no one is perfect ;) ) and we all got our curries as we desired them, which is priceless. there were lots of locals waiting for takeways, which we consider very good sign and that's why we pick it.
