This Mediterranean cafe was truly extraordinary. Stepping inside felt like being transported to Turkey, with its beautifully themed interior. The staff were incredibly delightful and welcoming, adding to the warm atmosphere.
My partner and I visited for a Saturday brunch date and ordered Turkish coffee, a decaf iced latte, and two dishes: Moorish Eggs and the Turkish Breakfast.
The Turkish coffee was similar to an espresso but lighter, smoother, and wonderfully rich – a delightful experience. The Moorish Eggs were a highlight, with perfectly seasoned meatballs in a flavourful tomato sauce. Pairing the Turkish bread with the sauce and meatballs created a sensational combination.
The Turkish Breakfast offered a variety of fresh, healthy options like cucumbers, fried eggs, and tomatoes. The two crispy Boreks were an absolute favorite, so much so that I wished for more even after getting full. The dish also included a mix of sweet jam and halloumi cheese, which made it even more enjoyable.
Overall, it was an exciting and unique experience. This cafe is a gem in North Auckland, and I highly...

Read moreI had driven past this cafe many times and the name always caught my eye. Finally, I got to go inside when I caught up with a work colleague. I have to say the friendliest staff. I had forgotten my bank card so I only had my phone to use paywave but as paywave wasn't accepted, the owner (I believe he was the owner) stepped in and allowed me to do a bank transfer, easy! I got my piping hot Mocha which went down really nice and I ordered the French Toast dish. French toast is my go-to when I'm not sure what to eat and this was the nicest french toast I've ever tasted. I believe it was some kind of Turkish bread, cinnamon sugar dusted and the texture and taste was beyond delicious. It came with a tasty berry compote and caramelised banana as well as maple syrup/sour cream. It's a very pleasant and rustic environment with a covered outdoor area and plenty of space. Highly...
