I popped into your shop for a quick coffee and bite to eat - this was my first time in your store and perhaps I got you guys on an off day, but I will detail what left me disappointed.

. The shop was grubby and had crumbs on the tables - there was a hand vacuum left on one of the tables was forgetten and not put to use.

. I ordered scrambled eggs on toast, the plate was smothered in balsamic reduction and leeched onto the bread and eggs - call me old fashioned, but I can't say I've ever had scrambled eggs with sweet vinegar reductions. Perhaps the intent was to garnish the plate, either this was an unsual choice.

. The eggs were overcooked and hard, but what really hit the final nail for me was the fact that eggs were saturated with black pepper. I can honestly say that scrambled eggs are my breakfast staple when eating breakfast in and around the city, and never have my eggs been seasoned.

My preference at that moment was to rather skip breakfast and wait for lunch since I had a meeting nearby in a few minutes.

The bacon and egg bap is amazing. The only problem is you have to be there when it opens to have any chance of getting one. The last several times iv called in they have been sold out. Make more! And less of the stuff that doesn't sell. I got a breakfast wrap instead which is the same price at $15 and asked for it toasted. After I'd left I found it was freezing cold so had to drive home and toast it myself. Great food here but not th4 best experience the last few times Iv been which is a shame as Iv been going...

Anita catered for my 70th birthday party, providing substantial finger food for 65 guests plus a grazing platter. She was on the ball and a pleasure to deal with. Her food was superb and utterly delicious ... my guests kept commenting on its amazing quality and quantity. The wait staff were friendly and polished and ensured there was no shortage of food circulating. Anita's catering helped make the night a roaring success... thank you so much ... I can't recommend Sherry Kitchen...
