This is a nice walkway amongst the dense bush in the Birkenhead area. We entered via the Tui Glen Road entrance. There are the standard Kauri dieback shoe cleaning stations installed on the entrance. There is a newly constructed high wooden bridge which is a main attraction of this walkway. There are a few stairs and the walk is easy to moderate in terms of difficult levels. The kids also enjoy it a lot. One can hear a variety of birds chirping around and easily forget that it is a a busy part of the suburban area in a city. The trails don't go long as well so not nice for going for walk unless you want to go for walk i neighborhood footpath then come to the forest to get some fresh oxygen. Onetome is enough for me. But bridge is well made so recommend you to go checkout the views from it as it is free so no tickets needed. But it will be one time visit only for almost everyone.
