Hollywood Bakery & Espresso Cafe — Restaurant in Kaipātiki

consistently inconsistent with the other Hollywood bakery's. I frequently goto the other Hollywood Cafe locations and this is always the stand-out let down. I have NEVER left a review online, but it seems this place made the exception for me.

Have given this place 4 chances/attempts, visiting different day/time zones (peak/non peak, weekend/weekday) and every time was the same letdown. No chance to eat... because of very minimalist food on display. very little/no offering in the Warmers, or an inability to re-stock, and even if there was food - it seems to cost more than other Hollywood Cafes.

They (try to) charge $4 for a Sausage Roll approx 6-7cm long. The bakery a few doors down is half the price for tripple the size

Wanted to have a nice brunch and thought I’d try this one for a change as I usually go to the glenfield Hollywood bakery. Worse mistake I have ever made do not go here at all! For starters customer service was absolutely poor, waited to be served for ages while they ignored me standing at the counter. Food was absolutely disgusting I ordered the eggs Benedict with a side of creamy mushrooms. The bread was so thin and hard to cut, the hollandaise had no flavour was very bland. Mushroom were not creamy, far from it they were vinegary very sour. One thing I’ll give them here is they make one hell of a delicious iced caramel latte. It appears this franchise is under new management Went there this morning. The place was full,one person making coffee. It looked like it would take ages to get served.The till/serving counter is now covered with packaged stuff for sale.Very cluttered.Really tacky plastic flowers on the tables.I turned around and walked out.
