Busy little cafe with a lovely community feel. In short a disappointing experience and would not recommend the steak meal especially at $23.80. Perhaps it was the busyness of the day as we had waited 25 minutes for our 2 x steak meals with wedges although I noticed it was only our meals that needing cooking or preparing at that time. A request for a rare steak was presented as well done and also was extremely small almost minute for the $23.80. Asked nicely for the steak to be rare not well done. The small steak was recooked and returned to me! When I said I requested a rare steak, this was already well done to begin with and is now re and over cooked before returning to me. My mum and I and my husband and I have been here. On several occasions but this is the last straw. Order a ham cheese and tomato croissant. A cheese scone and a grey earl tea. The croissant was disgusting. Ham was cold though I asked them to heat it up. It took about 20mins to “toast” and by the time the croissant came. It was hard and unappetising to eat.
