Upon entry, the bakery was a decent size, didnt need to squueze in, a couple tables inside and out to dine in. It's looked clean, a good variety on the menu. This visit, we had a Luau & feta pie (like a spinach and feta) was delicious id give it a 8/10. A creamy prawn pie, delicious a 8/10. A palusami and cornbeef pie, was good id give it a 7/10 (just needed a bit of coconut cream n seasoning for the corn beef) and a steak and cheese pie which was delicious, id give it a 8/10. The raw fish was with Travelly, this was yum, creamy kara coconut cream with chopped telecumber and capsicum pieces, id give it a 7/10. Overall id definitely recommend and would definitely be back to try more dishes. Costs was standard bakery prices which was great. All 5 items costs us around $32. This bakery would be in my overall Top5 bakery spots in Auckland.

It started raining, went to visit this place, and tried some of their pies. They were okay, but I do have my favourite pies, and I will try others out depending on where I am at the time. The bacon and egg pie was okay, nice and flaky, the filling was good too. 2.5/5 The paua pie was okay. The filling was a little thick and not enough paua filling, under seasoned if seasoned at all. 2.0/5. The pork almost had no flavour it tasted like pork with redish pink food colouring, which is also tasteless. The steak and cheese was good, the filling was also good wth enough cheese too. The fries were good and cooked how I liked them. 3.75/5. I would only go there again if I needed too but not in a hurry.

Omg Hallelujah!! I'm so glad I came across this place, hands down the best pie makers and lunch bar in Auckland. The paua pie and palu Sami are my favorite. The glazed chocolate doughnut and loaded wedges were amazing with a banana milk shake. I can't wait to try lobster pie next 😋 My daughter loved her steak and cheese pie and cream doughnut. This was all delivered!! High quality & short turn around time 😲 😱 😍 Thank you guys, highly recommend especially if you love your pies to try these guys out -flaky gold brown pastry decadent flavourful juicey filling. Really made our morning.

My Son & I went to check this place as i heard alot of Great utube reviews & its close to home. There is a huge selection of pies including lobster & boil up pies in watercress. Choose 3 unique range & one 1 staple pie. All these pies are dense & weighted

Steak and cheese : Brings me memories from old Orly Ave bakery (not the new version). The steak is chucky & cheese is visibly cheesy. But that wasn't the bliss point. It's the mixture of peppery & species that brings this pie into another level.

Pau pie : Best Pie recipe for the Pau pie. Creamy, yet favorable. Had a Pau pie at another store & mixture was purple & smelt fishy cost $10. So eighty 8 is worth the purchase but best part it's $4 cheaper. Bacon and Egg : I don't like bacon & egg pies cause it's either dry or one egg with process ham pie or veggies. This B&E pie is amazing. It had real bacon(not salty)egg was moist scramble with Chucks of yellow egg York. But keeping the b&e moist is oozing fusion of cheese & seasoning.

Fish pie: out of all the pies listed this is one of the worst. Its chucky fish & aroma lures u into great journey until you bite the Mof, It's way too salty, it's so salty that it's inedible. Threw it in bin after a bite. I hope they change the fish or the processing in making the pie. Henceforth 4 stars instead of 5 stars.

It's busy and ques are certain due to its popularity & location it's surrounded by workshops and industrial plants. So expect que around smoko 10am-11 & lunch 12-1pm Pies $6 My opinion I'll be back! Its worth...

Beautiful Pies. Disgusting customer service.

Please be mindful to calculate your shopping before paying and look at the eftpos machine before you tap your card.

I placed my order with the cashier & it came to just over $40. I received a phone call, so I passed my card to my husband to make payment. My husband never looks at prices or cares to calculate when we are out shopping. (So while I'm chatting on the phone, he just taps the paywave - transaction completed. I smile at the cashier and she asks me if I want a reciept and I say no thankyou and proceed to walk out. My phone call ends and just as we are about to leave I get a notification from my bank letting me know how much was just spent and when I see $89, I was livid.

I then ask my husand if he added anything to our purchase and he says no, I look up and the cashier is literally watching us in our car. I walk back in and proceed to calculate our purchase and to show her that she overcharged me $40 & all she has to say is "Oh I asked if you want a reciept its not my fault."

Dishonest...

Went and brought the povisami pie and pauas and cream pie...was sooooo good, also had the seafood chowder and fried bread, again was so good, this place has become popular and the lobster pies had been sold out, id definitely go back again to try the lobster pie but they also had a variety, such as ,hangi pies and even oyster pies...they also have the seafood basket as well as pauas on hot chips, the selection on the menu is like no other, ive never been to a lunch that has such a unique menu, unlike most lunch bars that have the normal foods like hot chips, kebabs the normal stuff....you have to try it out, i usually take photos but the food didnt make it lol...i do recommend going early so because rhe place gets pretty packed, and the parking gets pretty tight as it comes off a busy industrial back road with a lot of trucks that use it...so...
