The only thing I can recommend is that you spend your money elsewhere.
This club has "policies" which are illegally discriminatory to those that wear religious headwear. They are also selective about who these "policies" apply to or who they refuse entry to based on their "no headwear" rule. They deny the racist foundations of this policies citing "the same rules have applied for the last 50 years", however, this is not an acceptable argument and denying a person entry because of their religious beliefs goes directly against the New Zealand Freedom of Religion Laws. Many people consider their religious headwear (eg. Turban) as a part of their body, and the government recognises this, as it is allowed in passport photos etc.
Till these racist and outdated policies change, I would NOT recommend the Manurewa Cosmopolitan...

However it seems that there has been a mistake made, with umimagined consequences, with respect to the turban incident. This is not some local ratbag with a hoodie and cap and sunglasses on!!! This a person wearing recognised religious headwear. Would the Club decline a nun from attending a function, purely because she was wearing a habit? If the answer is yes, then a consistent, but in my view wrong, call has been made. If the answer is no then you will have failed to be consistent.
