I learned of this place by watching someone on Instragram eat here. We went for lunch and I was surprised. This place offers a lot of dishes, but we went for the smorgasbord. I was not disappointed. This place is better than the Chinese food in the mall foodcourt. Yes they're similar dishes, but you can tell these have been made with quality ingredients and haven't been sitting there for hours or days. An example is the sweet and sour pork. The foodcourt ones are usually just the fat or gristle deep fried. The one from JJ Kitchen are pure meat. You also have to try their fried chicken.

Read moreThe reason I’m afraid of trying something new even for basic Chinese food was validated tonight. Just wanting two containers of easy, standard, Chinese food for 2 adults and a 7 year old - would not do again. A standard chicken fried rice was so laced with pepper I could not eat it (and I would happily eat medium Thai food , love chilli’s, but overdone white pepper is a different story). So it becomes a completely inedible meal for a 7 year old. The plan was to order something that we would all eat, still ended up making toast. Disappointed. Sweet and sour pork - dry Wonton - dry and squashed and not what you would identify as a wonton.
Nice offer from manager to get something for free when we went next time, there won’t...
