The cafe is located on the mezzanine floor of the Royal Oak shopping mall. You can take the elevator to the right floor or just head into the mall and look for the stairs and escalators up. It is close to the main entrance. The staff are quite friendly and there is quite a large and open dining area, which seems very spacious. They also have a playground at the end. The menu is quite interesting, a combination of standard cafe food with some Asian flavours mixed in. I had the bulgogi burger with an iced chocolate. The ice chocolate had a nice chocolate flavour. The burger was also tasty. I quite liked the flavours with the sweet patty and slightly vinegary and spicy kimchi underneath. The bun did fall apart near the end though. The hot drinks had interesting designs in the foam. We were sitting on the side and there was a planter there. It was nice they were growing thing but it did mean there were insects on the table for most of the meal. I quite liked the cafe with tasty food and friendly servers.

Oak Eatery is located upstairs within the Royal Oak Shopping Mall so a great place to visit before visiting the supermarket or local shops. There is a wide range of both sweet and savory foods on offer including Keto-friendly and vegetarian options. I have fallen in love with the Chocolate Peanut Butter slice which tastes divine (see photo attached). It is full of crunchy nuts, creamy peanut butter and chocolate. Delicious! The coffee is not as strong as I like so I will request a stronger brew next time. The staff are very friendly and this is somewhere local that I will happily return to again.

Great food quality and selections, recommended the stack if you after something unique combinations of flavours. Oak Eatery Is a cafe where you need to queue at the counter to place your order so don’t expect someone is coming to take your order. When placing order at the counter please make sure you double check what you’ve ordered and seems like they can misunderstood the order you’ve just placed. And when the meal arrived, no cutlery were provided. Went to the front and ask for cutlery but the staff seems to be giving me a weird look when I told them I was not provided with any cutlery.

Another urban list recommendation which made it an excellent experience for a Saturday brunch. Uniquely located on the mezzanine floor of the royal oak mall. The Coffee is good and so is the nutella chocolate doughnut (according to our 3 & 6 year olds) but the main feature is the beautifully presented tasty cooked meals. We ordered the lamb loin dish and the aniseed chicken both absolutely delicious. They have a corner playground area for the littlies ideal for families. Worth another visit

Really poor service, the woman at the front counter was far more interested in typing on her tablet to even acknowledge we were standing there. It didn't get much better with a very curt "anything else" immediately after each item. Our food was delivered some time apart, my partner had almost finished by the time mine had arrived. It was pretty average food, not worth the poor attitude or wait. The server who brought our coffee and food was great, but far outweighed by the negatives.

Such a good experience! Staff were very friendly and lovely! There was abit of wait on food but cafe was packed out which is definitely a good sign. Coffees and good were delicious we will be back. It is hidden in the mall but it is well set up with plenty of seating area. Also, not often do you have a conversation with a staff member and after the lovely chat you then find out he’s the owner! So it’s not often you ever find the owner running the whole floor during very busy rush.
