Lunch for 2 today. They have the Covid-19 taped to the sliding door so everyone wanting to enter is held up. The doors are not on automatic and half the people don't close them so it was pretty cold and breezy inside today(wet, windy and cool). We ordered. There was an attractive picture of chicken schnitzel on the counter so I ordered that. My friend had the Eggs Benedict. At the table there was only 1 serviette in the knife/fork/napkin holder and we had to ask for more. Lord only knows when they last cleaned the salt and pepper stand. Bits of sugar sachets , old salt and pepper. The couple behind us were demanding to know where their meal was as they had sat waiting for ages. My friend's eggs arrived after a wait. Average, she said. I waited and waited and eventually I also demanded to know where my meals was. It turned up. The chips were good. The rest was nothing to rave about. 3 thin, meagre slices of tomato, one large outer lettuce leaf that had signs of decay on the stem. The patty looked like something you could buy at the supermarket and so did the bun. Not worth the price. The ladies at the other table said in parting that they would not be back. Neither will we. The wait staff were pleasant and were very diligent at sanitizing. Their kitchen staff let them down badly. My advice is - go...
Read moreOur Sunday morning ritual without the Teens had us stop by this CC @ Lifestyle Sylvia Park. Have been here before and enjoyed the experience - today there was a new staff member being trained, not the same hospitable service likely more nerves trying to cope with familiarisation of the till and all. Hopefully this improves cos we will have to change our Sunday routine and head back to our fave CC @ Lunn Ave. Tried the Smashed Avo, Pumpkin, Tomatoe, Beetroot relish & egg on Ciabatta, lovely presentation an interesting mix of flavours. I ended up enjoying my husbands Scrambled Eggs on Ciabatta (Build my own Brekky) with sausages. Simple & tasty. Our meal would’ve been nicer if it started off with a genuine smile from this staff member like how it normally is from staff who have been there a while. Hoping this feedback is taken and learnings are observed after watching her with other customers. A word of advice to the newbie “Every customer should receive the same genuine caring service not just selected ones young one.”

Read moreOmgosh I don’t even want to give yous 1 ⭐️ with what happened,where to start so myself and my husband were asking a simple question to see if we can get a certain order for our meal only to be yelled at from the lady behind the counter who abruptly frikin was literally screaming at us,to “show the vaccine card “we were trying to pull it up and before we could she was like if you don’t have it leave👀😳I was so shook, never have I ever come across someone so rude in my life,who even treats their customers this way.I asked if she was the manager and she said no but was still telling us to leave if we don’t have the pass..The whole time she was over talking us 😖😩I mean if she’s stressing out coz they’re busy 😳hey don’t take it out on the customers not a good start,it was majorly embarrassing because the cafe is packed and EVERYONE WAS STARTING ..but we still stayed to eat our meals we ordered I’m speechless ..COFFEECLUB SORT OUT YOUR STAFF HERE IN BOTANY ..I’m not meaning this to all the other workers they were polite...
