Untidy venue. Over priced for lazy made food, wontons lacked flavor, combination fried rice only offer's chicken plus rice was under cooked and Not fryed. Their sweet & sour pork and lemon chicken is lazy made, large deep fried pieces, with the smallest amount of sauce drizzled over top. Was very unhappy and will not order from here again.

Website says open to 9pm. We got there at 8:20pm Saturday night. The big sign on the door was flipped over to say open, the hours on the door said 9pm, went to open the door and it was locked. There was an asian lady sitting down eating and waved us away with big arm movements. Not the first time it's been closed when we went there.

Ordered fried rice which was very good. Only thing it needed was a little bit more greens. Taste was perfect. The restaurant could do with a facelift, it’s not really a sit down shop, just a takeaway shop

I have dined at the Hong Yun in Stoke for years and I have recommended it to so many foodies. They do takeaways which are freshly cooked and constantly refilled by the very capable Hong; but do yourself a favour and take along a bottle of wine, try their stuffed mushrooms, deep fried squid and the Beef and vegetable hot plate... if you are a vegetable fan you are going to love their freshly cooked vegetables... consistently satisfying. NOT HAPPY,I LIVE IN STOKE NELSON, MY FRIEND WENT TO THE CHINESE STORE, AND CAME BACK WITH SOMETHING SO REVOting,I had a few nibbles and15 minutes later,I had to rush to the bathroom, vomiting and diarrhea,and I'm still recovering today,I've never had food pisioning before,but I will tell you something, that Chinese shop needs to...

The food and price more than make up for the building looking a little long in the tooth. I had a meal from here and then a similar one from Miracle the following night. Miracle was twice the price, served luke warm, with uncooked dimplings. Miracle didn't taste half as good Hong Yun. Ill be going to Hong Yun again next time...
