Over the past 4 months I have ordered and sampled most of the dishes on the menu. The "Street Bites" are incredible. The team have managed to capture the flavours and excitement of these dishes when experienced in a street setting. I highly recommend the Duck Roti - all of the dishes benefit from good produce selection - the vegetables and meat is fresh, and then cooked with amazing skill. The mains meet the expectations, and then take it even further! You can expect the standard NZ Thai takeaway fare; Pad Thai, Green Thai Curry, Nasi Goreng - but these are presented by Krua Bangkok with exceptional flavour and freshness, and this is just the beginning. The best Thai restaurant we’ve tried in New Zealand! There’s only one table inside, which we happily used as we’re traveling in a car and wanted to enjoy our meal at a proper table. The staff was incredibly kind and let us know upfront that they had many orders and there might be a bit of a wait, but in the end, it wasn’t long at all. The gentleman managed to cook, answer the phone, serve us, and handle takeaway orders – all with a friendly attitude and a smile!

Don't go any where else for Thai, just here. I was in the hospitality trade for twenty years and travelled through Thailand back in the day for just shy of two months, dang did this take me back.

Really generous portions, beautifully balanced with the right amount of spice. Great to turn up and there's a full warmer cupboard for the food to keep it piping hot.
