We went there last night, with a large group, sitting outside, but their wifi connections on their eftpos machine was to far away from the bar to work. I was accused that my card was faulty, but that was not the case as it did say on the machine that there was not connectivity. A second waitress came over and ask me in a rude manner that I need to come with her to pay right now. We have not even received the drinks yet. We are middle aged locals who always pay. I ask her if I can eat my fish and chips first and come after that to the bar to pay, but her respond was untactful and bossy again. I decided not to have the drinks and never to come back again. Rude and unprofessional staff, we waited for the staff at the door to be seated as level 2 restrictions don’t allow counter service. 2 staff were at the counter and the pub wasn’t busy at that time but no one attended us. The workshop saved my night after getting unexpected worst service from...

Everyone seems happy to be there - including children and dogs - it meant we had some great chats with other customers while we were at the bar. Snacks were delicious, we tried the chips with spice and olives. We'd love to go in the winter to experience the innovative under table heating. So sad we don't live closer to this fabulous, relaxing venue. PS one of us was not drinking alcohol at the time of out visit, and there is a great selection of non...
