Nestled behind an unassuming frontage in Cambridge lies a hidden gem that promises an exceptional dining experience: Alpino Italian. As you step inside, the tasteful decor and elegant atmosphere transport you to Italy, setting the stage for an unforgettable culinary journey.

The menu boasts a variety of Italian delicacies, each bursting with authentic flavors that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. The impressive culinary prowess of the kitchen staff is evident in every dish, from the perfectly cooked pasta to the mouthwatering sauces that adorn them. The waiting staff are equally impressive, providing top-class service and expert knowledge of the menu, making for a seamless dining experience.

The only slight drawback we experienced was the relatively small portion sizes of the pasta dishes we ordered, which left some members of our dining party feeling slightly unsatisfied. However, this was a minor flaw in an otherwise exceptional meal that left us eager to return and try more of the restaurant's culinary offerings.

Overall, Alpino Italian is a must-visit for any discerning foodie looking for an authentic Italian dining experience in the heart...

I think I had high expectations after the reviews I heard from friends. Don't get me wrong it was nice, but it was also disappointing at the same time. Yes I'm going to be picky if you want to call it that, but for the price they are charging I expect more. 1. Seemed rushed, as staff have to memorise the order. 2. One of the staff serving our table reached right across the table of 4 (plenty of room to walk around to give it to me). 3. I ordered the tiger prawns, saw Prawns had to have it. Two pieces of bread, 4 tiger prawns so tasty and then 5 prawn heads with no flesh for me to eat. Why? Why? Why would you put something on my plate i cant eat! Little messy as they were still in the shell, not the easiest to eat when your have an oil based meal, For a main meal it was a little lacking. They did have a lovely range of cocktails and mocktails. My friends meals were lovely. Yes, you may think I'm a little hash or picky, but when I go out for dinner, which is not very often financially, I do expect quality from this type of...

#localtourismnz. Excellent service, beautiful ambience, delicious food & warm environment especially during winter. Their menu is locally sourced, changes seasonally & they always have something delicious and different. Menu has a variety of dishes - veg, non veg, pasta, pizza. Drinks available are beers, NZ & International wine, cocktails, mocktails, coffees & softdrinks. Their bread, pasta & pizza are all freshly made by chefs. Star dish is a slow cooked lamb, risotto & their Ravioli is delicious thin & light (good portions as well)! Walk-ins are welcome. For Friday & Saturday book a table because this place fills up fast. Bar sitting is available for dine in or quick meals. (Modern & clean bar). Table bookings are between 1.5-2hrs depending what time you are booked for dine-in (always check with the restaurant). Bookings recommended for more than 2 people to avoid disappointments on busy days. Outside sitting is available as well. Especially on a nice sunny day, the outside seating is ideal for a meal with...

Alpino is a gorgeous Italian restaurant in Cambridge. This bustling restaurant was full of people and chatter as soon as we walked in, we were greeted at the door, and the staff were nice and friendly. I ordered a Limoncello margarita, but sadly, I never got to try it as it never came, but everyone else at our table got their drinks and seemed to be happy. I didn't want to make a fuss. I ended up having a glass of wine, which my friend offered me from the bottle he ordered, so it was all good. The young man who took our orders was lovely and friendly. We ordered mozzarella balls and two pizzas. The pizzas were delicious, especially the prawn one. We loved the complimentary chilli oil they brought to the table, so yummy. We were so full from dinner that we didn't need dessert but we had such a lovely time and enjoyed our meal with friends. Please visit this gorgeous restaurant, the food is definitely delicious and the atmosphere is great.
