The environment is very loyal to the Tai cousine and most of the cookers are from Thailand, which ensures it's authentic. Unfortunately they didn't update the new menu in their website, but there are two options that are amazing to try. For European cousine, which they have a good variety of dishes, the parmesan chicken breast with mashed potatoes is a certain win. Meanwhile, if you want to go for a good Tai cousine. The panang duck with veggies in a coconut milk sauce and rice is an amazing call. The coconut milk sauce goes very well with the duck, specially because it doesn't steal it's flavour and give a great experience for anyone keen for it. Suggestion, ask for medium spice level, unless you're a passionate for spice food because they will ensure the spice level of Thailand. Also, they don't close on holidays. This is a great plus because you can count on them anytime.

Had Panang Duck for dinner. I thought it was too sweet. Less sugar and more coconut milk would have taken it to the next level I think. My biggest gripe however is the portion of the rice... it has to be the smallest I've come across.

Popped in for a quick evening meal on our way back to the Hawkes Bay. The service was great - thanks to the young man who waited on us. However, the food was extremely disappointing. My husband and I both had the fisherman's catch which was just a mishmash of pre-frozen seafood - the scallops and the king-prawns left an awful lot to be desired. The promised salad consisted of a very large cabbage leaf with shredded carrot on the top. Never had a "salad" like it and hope never to see such a salad again. We both had a nice cool glass of diet coke over ice and when my husband asked for another without ice he was told that it would cost an extra 50cents without the ice - never heard the like of it before. $71.50 later we were back in the car............ thank God for the barley sugars that took away the bad taste of our...

I cycled from Flagstaff Hamilton to Cambridge and decided to have lunch here at Café Oasis. Less busy than usual when I got here at noon but the place became fuller. I had sweet and sour fish with vegetables and rice. I was given a complementary bottle of cold water to refill my bike bottle and a second complementary bottle for the meal, I also had a fresh orange juice with ginger beer. The food was so tasty and was delivered to my table very quickly. Service. Was spot on and the staff were so friendly. Great experience here from an English man on a...
