Always a great and fun time. Great entertainment, not too loud you have to shout either. This is the only place I will spend money to come and drink to have a good time. The food is most excellently cooked and served. Sure as hell dont mind spending on flavoursome food. My fav has to be the scallops meal!!!! Most awesomest atmosphere to come chill...and when it's time to turn the music up the vibe is heightened with pure fun, well controlled area, very professional security, highly maintained clean and tidy. Just one qualm, the young blonde lass gets picky with her customers and flicks her bad attitude at different ones...It must be hard serving drunks but I'm not impatient impolite or rude. That girl needs to smile more and serve her customers equally. Looks like the poor thing hates her job. Other than that, will still be the only place in the Eastern Bay of Plenty my husband and I will go to spend our money guaranteed of a good, fun and safe day...

We went for a meal after arriving in Whakatane in the evening and ordered about 7.45. The place was busyish but not crowded. We waited and waited. After about 40 minutes we enquired after our meals. The waiter went to the kitchen but didn't return to update us. The next time we saw him was taking meals to a couple who arrived after us. I stopped him on the way back. He said that we should have been told that there was an hour wait when ordering. He said we could have our money back and go elsewhere. Partner and I went for mothers day lunch, was quite packed when we arrived so understandably there was a half an hour wait, which turned into one hour, ordered a bottle of water and one Spicy Prawn Cocktail for starter, then Surf & Turf and Scotch Fillet Steak for main, starter was nice. Our Steaks were cooked medium rare to perfection but sadly, prawns were only seared on one side and close to raw on the other, oysters were tiny and transparent & chips were cold.
