The Wagon has to be one of the best spots in town to grab a drink & meal. The vibe to start is something to write home about and the burgers, wow!!! The burgers are so big, juicy and full of flavor the combinations they thought of are out of this world, some would say revolutionary - its so hard to pick a favorite as they all have there own best parts, from extra meaty Wicked Wagon to the Vegan jackfruit all are just too good, I would suggest working your way through them all over time (I promise you will not be disappointed) now the wings .. having tried wings around the world I would have to say these are up in my TOP wings I have ever tried, so incredibly tasty and perfect amount of saucy, need a few extra napkins for these. Doesn't stop with the food either, they have some incredible NZ gins I had never heard of & are used in their cocktails, each one are just delightful! There is also great local beer & cider on tap & can't forget the all mighty Waikato - All round 5 stars...

On Wednesdays the wings are 2$ each, so between two people we spent 20$ on lunch for 10 wings, half Asian and half buffalo. The food came out in 5-10 mins and they give you an entire wing. This includes a drum, a flat, and the tip as one wing, meaning more chicken for you. It was a great find for us and I’ll be back to try the rest...
Read moreI frequent this joint occasionally. Just for the Blue Vein burger. I quite like this offering of theirs. The tang of the cheese is well offset against the sweetness of freshly sliced pear. The meat pattie is consistently lean, well put together, cooked just right and fresh. Buns are ok and the other ingredients well picked.
Staff are respectful and obliging.
The burglars (sic) only discouragment is price which maybe a little excessive if compared to other restaurant offerings especially those who serve their creations in a slightly more refined environment.
However, not enough to not make me return to have yet...
