We visited Aunty’s for lunch and had the big breakfast and the paua wontons. Everything was perfectly cooked and flavourful. The creamy mushrooms and the home made hash brown were highlights of the big breakfast. The paua wontons were filled with creamed paua and the cress salad it came with was bright and delicious. Will definitely return to try some of their other menu items like the boil up. Love that Aunty's have a pay it forward board for those in need. Hope the Whanganui community supports this venture!

Iced latte was incredible. So dark and brutal. Yet creamy and welcoming. And the cup size was just right. So I was not overwhelmed by a litre of milk. Also helps they use my home down Havana beans….. I don’t eat so can’t really rate the “food”. Last point, great community vibes here. Art show. Mini library. And reasonably priced.

Iced latte was incredible. So dark and brutal. Yet creamy and welcoming. And the cup size was just right. So I was not overwhelmed by a litre of milk. Also helps they use my home down Havana beans….. We arrived at 9am and a guy had been served his eggs and bacon so my partner ordered him some. We waited 45 minute for blimin eggs and bacon, they seemed more interested in whoever was outside. Then we see the chef come inside after 20 minutes, rude!! But still waited!! I had to yell out, when are we getting our eggs!!? We have to go to work!! A job that could have taken ten minutes!! And the eggs came out overcooked!! Pretty appalling I have to say!! Never going back there again!! I'm being nice giving...

Paua wontons were really nice. Lots of paua, nice texture creamy taste, not rubbery, and over compensated with just cream filled. Cost 21 bucks. Probs more of an entree then a full meal. But really nice quality.

Summer latte was good too. Not bitter!

Staff are nice. Service was good. Atmosphere was nice quiet rustic book shop vibes.. I suppose is common for...
