My Sri Lankan bestie wanted to showcase SL cuisine to me thus the B'leaf was the chosen location on a Sunday afternoon. I admire cafes that do that lil bit extra to stand out. We started with 4 choices of starters which gave a tingling to the taste buds, there was slight variations in textures and filling, all very tasty. For the large meal, we had the chicken kottu and Idiyappam. The chicken kottu visually reminded me of a mashed up fried kway teow but it was way more than that, definitely a unique dish, it had a mouth feel like fried noodle, its fried paratha with chicken pieces that reminded me of KFC for some reason, vege and cheese thats strands showed whenever you took a serving. My only complaint was shards of chicken bone, I have eaten dishes that have bone in but the shards just meant you have to scour each mouthful before swallowing which for me was a distraction from the tastebuds party that kottu offers. The Idiyappam reminded me of the Idli I had eaten in India so nostalgic and delicious. A great food experience, I am intrigued by their Saturday meals so will be back. The staff are so welcoming...

Been in the B Leaf twice on within seven days for takeaway. Excellent food very reasonable prices. Ultra friendly staff. Do try it you won't be disappointed. Good selection of items blend of European and Asian (Sri Lankan)...
