We went for dinner at Bistro52 at WelTec in central Wellington tonight knowing that the kitchen and wait staff are all in training. The wait staff were very attentive. Paul, in charge of the restaurant was always around to give guidance and to check in with the customers. The tables were set with lovely clean linen and candles. Before dinner, we got served with fresh crusty bread & butter. There were 3 choices of each course (starters, mains and desserts). The menu had a specific wine recommendation for each dish. Each course was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. So enjoyable, I really wanted to lick the plate but wasn’t allowed by my husband. Not proper form 😂. For a 3 course meal, the charge was $30. Where can you get that anywhere else? Would I recommend this restaurant? So much so, we would definitely go back again if we have the chance.
