Burger King Whakatane — Restaurant in North Island

For 6 months Burger King Whakatane and I have shared a common boundary fence, over this time I have been contemplating purchasing a burger meal. So after checking out their web page and being awestruck by the amazing photos I made my choice and headed there. It has been 16 years since my last Burger King encounter so there was a certain anticipation as I ordered my takeaway, the flame grilled double cheese Burger with regular fries and a Lime milkshake. It's only a 2 minute walk and yet when I arrived home, I was so disappointed, the fries were cold and limp (limp string fries) must have been cooked ages before, I then discovered this tiny little grease proof paper package, this surely could not be the massive Burger I had viewed online, alas it was, a Lilliputian sized, supposedly flame cooked smoky flavoured burger. I took it apart without much trouble, flame cooked no,no,no, just a normally cooked burger with smoky flavour brushed on, yuk! the milkshake was also stink. The moral of this review is:- If you have not ventured into Burger King for 16 years there would have been a very good reason for it. Disgusting Burger King your pretence is tantamount to fraud. I was actually saddened. Never will I darken...

Not much nice to say ... arrived at 0855 for Brekkie to find they didn't open till 9. All good but they did not actually open till 0905, wouldn't have been a problem but we were then left standing at the counter with no communication for another 15 min. The server was disinterested to say the least. Ordered a sausage bene combo, only to be told that the only meat in the breakfast muffins were meat patties, oh and no hot chocolate available. Then told another 10 min wait for food (after id paid) Food came. Burgers/muffins cold and I didn't get my bene muffin just got a meat and egg muffin, no hollandaise, by that time it had taken so long that we were kind of in a hurry so just ate it. Coffee was hot but bitter as. Only good thing was the hash bites were hot ... NEVER AGAIN. WILL BE CROSSING THE ROAD NEXT TIME...

Went to Burger King Whakatane and the service was absolutely terrible! They were so rude and unprofessional. Asked for fresh fries when placing my order through the drive thru, got given cold fries so brought it to their attention and they asked me to park. Waited 10 minutes before going inside to ask where my order was. They had forgotten they parked me and then started arguing amoungest themselves. Two of the ladies where picking on another worker, yelling at him. Poor dude. So I waited another 3 - 4 minutes while they finally put fresh fries down and gave them to me. I've had rude service there a few times before but brushed it off as everyone has bad days but after tonight I think management really need to review the sort of...
