Captain Kune's — Restaurant in North Island

Probably one of the worst fish and chip shops I have been to. There was a woman working there who didn't seem to know how to use anything lower than screaming. She was swearing away, and only seemed to get friendly with the locals. I ordered a cheeseburger with no onion or tomato, she even repeated it back to me, and of course the burger came with a hefty helping of onion and tomato. I also ordered garlic chips, thinking of course garlic butter chips as they are everywhere else, instead I got home to pretty much an entire bottle of aioli on my chips. They also accidentally put chicken salt on another customers chips who asked there not be. So they ruffled through the persons chips, without gloves, trying to get the salt off and then wrapped them up and served them to him, saying they only had a little bit of chicken salt, with a smile as if it wasn't an issue? I miss the old owner from Captain Kune's . Helen made best food there I gave her 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟. Now there is a new owner, and it's still Captain Kune's the Food was So Bad fish burger and chips were disgusting , the Fish burger with one slice of letters and one piece of onion ring that was it nothing else 🤬 . The batter on my fish was dark Brown, nothing like the old owner. Her fish was the best 👌. Now, this fish was 🤮. using old oil to cook fish, not 👎👎👎 never going back to them they are the New owner from Tiger Palace.

Highly recommend not to go! The burgers were being made with what so ever gloves nothing, the roofs were all covered with oil,your chip drops were disgusting and all black! Chip boxes were in the main fridge where drinks are being served!? Definetly not experienced the show was all over the place,there was random people coming in and out! Definetly no class what so ever! Do not go if you don't want your burgers touched by bare hands,god knows where,very disappointed in the health and safety...
