Domino’s Pizza Kilbirnie — Restaurant in North Island

Terrible experience both times we’ve ordered here. The first time, the pizzas were marked as delivered after 35 minutes but didn’t show up. A lengthy phone call revealed they were still in the driver’s car and were then delivered about 10 minutes later. Pizzas were cold and soggy and not as good as those from the Miramar/Newtown stores. The Kilbirnie store was relatively new so we put it down to teething issues. Some months later we’ve ordered again and after half an hour, the pizzas were marked delivered despite not arriving. Again, long phone call to the store where the manager didn’t believe me and repeatedly told me it was “not possible” for them to have been sent to the wrong place. He was insistent that they had been delivered and the driver had rung me and knocked (no missed calls on my phone and our couch is by the front door so 100% sure no one ever entered our yard). Wouldn’t even concede that it might have been delivered to the wrong house — said “maybe someone stole it” etc. Asked to have the ordered cancelled and refunded. 25 minutes later see a pizza guy outside our house looking around with a torch — turns out he had left it outside our neighbours’ house, which the manager had said was not possible. Pizzas were stone cold so we asked the driver to take them back so we could still get the refund. Called the store back and the manager said he “can’t believe” when customers say pizzas weren’t delivered because people lie. Anyway, last time we...

I would give 0 stars if I could. These guys drop the ball every single time. Undercooked doughy pizza, toppings thrown on with little care and they can't even cut the damn things properly. We've given them too many chances and we have finally given up on dominoes kilbirnie. I gave them feedback on my last order in which they only offered to replace one of the two pizzas. I responded and said I had lost faith and would prefer a refund - as stated on the box if you are not 100% happy. I mean who wants another crappy pizza? I then received no response, so I took the complaint further and also was ignored. So now for the bad Google review for everyone to see. Don't waste your time here, the pizza is cold and undercooked even when delivering a short distance, they didn't even deliver to our door! Other times they have left it outside in the cold for anyone to steal. They are consistently bad, our past 3 or 4 orders + others have been terrible. Send them to the northland store for training, when we dealt with them we never had any problems! As for the customer service, there is none. Just generic crap. On 22 May ordered from this store. The garlic knots I received were burnt and after contacting customer care, they provided me a voucher for a free traditional pizza to be used within 28 days.

Went to use that voucher 23 days later on the 14th of June only to see a warning message from the app stating my voucher wasn’t acceptable at the selected store. After calling the store I was informed that the voucher had expired…

This was too complex an issue for the staff to handle so they said a manger was needed and that the manager would call when they got in.

The manager never called. Customer care has also not responded to any messages.

Really disappointing...
