Unfortunately, my recent experience from Vietnameezy left me deeply underwhelmed. As someone who appreciates a truly authentic bowl of Vietnamese noodle soup, I have to say that the pho that I had here simply doesn't measure up. The most crucial element of a good pho is the broth, and sadly, theirs lacked the rich, and deeply savory character I've come to expect. It tasted thin and somewhat bland, missing the slow-simmered depth that defines a truly authentic pho. To add to the disappointment, my delivery arrived without the peanut sauce and other condiment options I had specifically selected during the ordering process. If you're craving a genuine and flavorful bowl of pho in Wellington, I would strongly recommend looking at Fisherman's plate...

I've been spoilt and had really good Vietnamese fare overseas. After coming back to Welly this place didn't meet expectations. Banh mi ratios were off, it was on the dry side, but I believe it's because traditionally they slather on a mayo/butter sauce and lots of pate as well as lots of salad and meat. The do chua (daikon and carrot pickle) was ok, but wished there was more coriander, spring onion and cucumber etc. Pho broth was very cloudy, without the true depth of flavour from beef bones and toasted spices. Not really a dine in place so got my items to go. The pho is better at fisherman's plate and even pho mo...

If you know real banh mi, this is it. This is the best banh mi in Wellington. Hands down.

The bread is the only one like it in Wellington. It is classic - perfectly crusty and soft at the same time. If you know, you know and if you dont, please get this and you'll get it straight away. The cold cuts are all super flavourful and fresh, the patê adds a little creamyness without overpowering and its all absolutely packed full of pickles and fresh herbs.

Had a couple other small bites and the stand out was the pork skewer, flavourful and...

Very nice authentic Vietnamese food available here!! 😋 But 2 stars off today for very poor disappointing aftersale service. The young lady serving me today, on even noticing that I was struggling to carry my 2 pots of pho noodles wouldn't even give me a bag (I had my mobile phone in my other hand). She instead walked straight back to the back of her shop. I couldn't even open the door to carry them out! 😢 Luckily an incoming customer kindly opened the door for me. They usually give out bags, but now it must be a cost saving measure!! 😭😭

This place is in the new Kilbirnie apartments opposite the Pak and Save next to the Chemist Warehouse carpark. I was keen to try some of the food especially the Pho. I ordered a small beef Pho for $10, popcorn chicken for $5 and two deep fried spring rolls for $6 ($3 each). It didn't take long for the food to arrive. The Pho was flavourful and warming in the cold day. The size was perfect for lunch. The popcorn chicken and spring rolls were delicious and great starters. Will be back to try the other dishes.
