Pizza Hut Whangarei — Restaurant in North Island

2 bad experiences here. First order that i ever got from pizza hut whangarei, the delivery driver turned up with a broken wind shield and a rubbish tip for a car (mini navy blue VW) when she opened the pizza bag i saw some kind of crawling flicking insect climb out of the box. i didnt say a thing at the time because the girl looked like she already had enough problems. I have just now ordered again and they sent my order to mt eden all the way in auckland and when i tried to call back to the manager he told his staff to tell me he was on the phone and to busy to talk, when i said oh thats ok i can hold, he then answered me straight away. i called back to see how far it was and he said 10 minutes. i then called back after half an hour more and he continued to argue with me that he initally told me 40 miutes when i even made sure i clarieifed with him 10 minutes on the previous call. he then called AGAIN and said his drivier was outside but there was no one to be seen. he kept claiming i was calling him a lier (i wasnt) and then said you can take the pizza or not and...

I recently visited Pizza Hut and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The pizza was delicious – perfectly baked with fresh ingredients, generous toppings, and just the right amount of cheese and sauce. You can really tell they take pride in the quality of their food. The atmosphere was also a pleasant surprise. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and had a warm, welcoming vibe. It’s a great spot whether you're grabbing a quick bite or sitting down for a meal with family or friends. What really stood out was the customer service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. They were quick with orders, polite, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure we had a good experience. Paper thin topping. Absolutely disgusting flavour and this was on a Hawaiian AND a meat lovers.

How do they manage to make the worst pizza in the country? Actually probably in the World?

Truly all you get is a doughy horrid base and a smear of sauce, and a few bits of unidentifiable 'stuff' chucked on for good measure.

No flavour, not good value, go buy a packet of Weetbix with your money and eat it dry. It will give you a heck of a lot more flavour and pleasure than this garbage served up by Whangarei Pizza Hut.

BUT: WAIT THERES MORE...... the service was prompt and the staff friendly. However not enough to entice us back. We will continue to spend our money at the local Dominos where the pizza has flavour and the service is prompt and the staff are friendly. A WIN WIN FOR...
