Mamas Donuts — Restaurant in North Island

I ordered a dozen glazed donuts to take away on a Thursday morning at Mamas Donuts. The staff were so friendly and full of smiles and lovely to deal with. But because this shop has only been opened recently, they still have some tweaking to do to speed up their service as the wait - and the lines - can be long. The glazed donut is a good all-rounder and there are several other flavours on offer. The three FOTM (flavour of the month) donuts were a 40 minute wait away. Better management will see this franchise...

Just the nicest place and the donuts are 'OH MY GOSH'. So many flavors to choose from. The staff are just the loveliest people and are really helpful. Unfortunately Tauranga City Council have rudely taken away parking on Cameron Rd but you can park around the corner and take a 1 minute stroll - well actually once you've tasted them you'll be running back for more not walking. Had a real mixed experience here. The actual pastry was delicious. Fluffy, light and not at all dry. The lemon, passionfruit donut was great, tonnes of flavour. However the chocolate mousse donut was really disappointing. The chocolate mousse wasn't really a mousse. More like a thick custard but completely devoid of any taste of chocolate.
