I ordered the Blueberry Smoothie and keto cheesecake today and they were both disappointing sorry to say. The sweetener or protein powder that was used had a horrible aftertaste and the almond flour and turmeric did not work at all in this smoothie. It was too gritty and left a sickly sweet fake taste in my mouth.

One highlight was the customer service was much better today than when I went and ordered last weekend. I didn't feel like I was being rushed this time around and both women who served me were really kind and patient which was nice. The maple walnut keto cheesecake I ordered last weekend was amazing and the portion was noticeably larger than today's serving.

I'm a little disheartened because I heard great things about this cafe and how they cater for people on the ketogenic diet which should be commended in itself, sadly, what I ordered today has left me not...

Beware! The prices on their menu for hot drinks is not the actual price you payif you choose to drink it in the cafe. Apparently, the board prices are for takeaway (although this is not specified on their menu) and you will be charged extra for drinking it there ($6.70 for a latte on the menu but we were charged $7.20 to have it there). This was not communicated to us when ordering and when we checked our receipt and questioned it, we were told they charge extra for lots of items such as butter with a scone and milk with tea. The lady serving was quite rude about it. I think these 'extras' (which most cafes would not charge for) should be communicated or listed on their menu rather than being added on without a customer's knowledge. Will not return to this cafe and would not recommend....

Disappointing

I ordered the hotcakes with marscapone, blackberry compote and maple syrup. It came out with a teaspoon of marscapone so the whole thing was way too sweet with nothing to counteract it because the teaspoon of marscapone did about one bite and pretty much melted immediately. It was also covered in almond flakes. If you are going to cover a dish with something, put it on the menu! I had to pick them all off and it really spoiled the whole meal. They also serve tea in little metal pots that give it an unpleasant metallic taste. Overall, really disappointing. I have to go get another drink somewhere to take the taste out of my mouth.

Staff were nice and food was well presented but but 2 stars is about...
