McDonald's Wanganui — Restaurant in North Island

McDonald's has dopoed it McDonald's-ness over the years, i remember going in to McDonald's and purchasing a great burger, instead now you get a slapped together burger that is not appetizing, sure it fill a gap, but when you pay the prices you pay now you expect to receive the picture that are promoting, the last big Mac i got was just crap, and if i were alone i would have sent it flying back, sauce was on only 1/2 its bun the paddies were not lined up with the bun, the lettuce was if they throw it from a great distance, one pickle hanging out, and the look was not a childhood memory, My kids Cheese Chicken was the pits, ONLY 1/2 a slice of Cheese, Honestly, how bloody cheep are you. no mayo or sauce. And now let talk about the hygiene standards, only two of the team member i saw that were wearing hair nets. Drive thru service- we were handed melted sundaes and asked to park were we waited ruffly 5mins for our order, ordered family pack, plus 2 other combos, when they came out it was missing 3 big mac burgers, we had to go back in, so again sundaes were well and truly melted by this stage, get home hand burgers out, the quater pounder wasnt cooked thru, (pinky meat)and required me cooking it in the mircowave, a couple of big macs were overly peppered, and the double cheese burgers patties were chewy and uneatable, every packet of chips were brown, cold and old looking! one of the raspberry drinks tasted like plastic and one caramel sundae had hair in it 😠 got to say Victoria Ave Maccers, the food and service we received tonight, (as the lady who served us seemed to be not with it at all), was absolutely disgusting!! We wont be ordering from here ever again! We spent alot of money tonight...

Maccas!! Well I have been comeing here for past 20 years when the kids were younger, now all grown up I mostly come for the kiwi burger and hazelnut mocha! Coffee is nice but it does depend who is makeing it for most times it's been how I like it Xtra hot not too sweet, but other times not! Staff super friendly I have found over the years always polite and great service, I personally have had no problems with Maccas, but I have seen some customers give them a hard time and they have dealt with them pretty well in my opinion, like anything you cannot make everyone happy!
