BurgerFuel Whanganui — Restaurant in North Island

I've been to other BurgerFuel restaurants and the standard of the burger I had was on a par with the excellent quality I've had elsewhere. One thing I'd like to note though is that the metallic platter my burger and sides were served on was only large enough to hold the burger and the box my Motobites were in, BF in Palmy has large round metallic serving dishes similar to pizza pans with which they put a disposable sheet on and those are much appreciated for eating such a messy burger with fillings that tend to fall out once the stake has been removed, for peace of mind that someone else hasn't eaten over that layer of paper and the size of those trays allows you to put everything you've bought on it instead of the tabletop.

The wait between being served straight away to when my food was ready was only about 10 minutes which I wouldn't consider a long wait at all at such a burger joint.

All in all though, I'd say the staff handled it pretty well for the restaurants first official day of opening and it was a typical lunchtime rush in Wangas.

We were visiting town briefly and after a hard day's work, we needed a quick fix. My wife asked if there was a Burger fuel in town as we know from experience up north, they are delicious and offer Coeliac friendly burgers. A quick Google revealed our answer and we scrambled into the car and made our way into town, curious as to what building it could be. Well, the sign was visible a mile off, and drew us in. No trouble finding a carpark surprisingly (did I mention I was from Tauranga!) Order taken quickly and professionally by a very friendly staff member who clearly explained the options for a Coeliac. Surprisingly again to me, the staff really looked like they enjoyed their jobs and just being there. The food we chose to take away, and not surprisingly was amazing as usual, perhaps even better than other stores. A smile really can make a difference! My husband and I decided to try something new so dropped into your store around lunchtime. We were greeted straight away with a very delightful cheerful young lady who has amazing customer service skills. Definately an asset to your store and the company. She had no problems repeating pir order back to us and even explained the different chip options without hesitation. The meal was absolutely amazing, fresh ingredients, fresh buns very filling we couldn't eat it all. The overall experience was the best we have had in a very long time. Watching the gentleman who was there coming out from behind the counter to explain the menu on the wall to some customer was also an asset to the 100% service from this store.
