My second time here and it was delightful like the first time. The first thing I noticed was how they thought of customer comfort first. The friendly reminder on the door to keep it shut to keep the warmth in to the heaters that gently pump out warmth. The place is clean and tidy. The service is warm and friendly. Good time made for what we ordered. The food absolutely delicious. I note they knew customers names - this speaks of how they must come regularly. I liked that. Nice display of food in the food cabinet. Very enjoyable place to stop at before heading out of town.

I wasn't informed that there would be butter on the egg toast. I wasn't informed there would be cheese on the chicken sandwich. I saw it in the window before ordering, so I suspect the cheese might've been added later, before toasting. Either way, there's no reason not to be transparent about ingredients. The windows were very large and were a hazard to birds - a sparrow crashed into the glass three times while I was there.

Food selection is a lot and good. There are vegan options also. Order french toast, which is very nice and good, salmon bagel and skipping lunch big breakfast which is very big portion. Service is quick on the drinks while the food take a while to prepare to serve. Cafe is good and lots of people having brunch. Location is in the central which is quite accessible and car park lots are right infront.

First time coming to Skipping Stone Cafe and eatery. It won't be my last. Service was perfect. Courtesy and friendly on engagement. Offer of menu to browse whilst trying to decide what to choose from on the menu board or cabinet.

Chose a ham and cheese crossiant which was presented with a complimented side salad. Just perfect. I ordered a Large Soy flat white made wirh Mojo beans and was a fabulous coffee will made.

I was going to choose the gorgeous looking caramel slice in the cabinet which definitely was home cooked but this will save for my next visit which will not be long... I did not have time to use the bathroom but the cafe was clean and very tidy, clean surfaces noted and liked the touch of a on the wall magazine rack time leisurely read when relaxing over a yummy coffee.

Well done Skipping Stone staff keep up your wonderful...

Four of us went for lunch on Friday, arrived around 1pm and ordered for different cooked meals, cost of $81 acceptable for 4 meals and 3 drinks. The 3 tea arrived within 10 mins. 2 meals arrived 45 mins later and the last 2 arrived 15 mins after that which makes it a complete 1 hour wait, the waiter was very nice and apologetic for such a delay, however, it's not his fault, isn't it? The amount of salmon in the salmon stack meal was very mean, the omelette was not fluffy and tasted more like a pancake. The other 2 meals were ok. The cafe was not that busy during the time we were there and yet the amount of time it took to serve up our average to poor tasting meals is totally unacceptable. There's definitely room for...

We've been a couple times in a short span. In the first case, we stopped for a quick snack and coffee. The quality was good, but there was an error with a special instruction. It was quickly fixed and we were happy with the visit. The second stop was immediately following Round the Bays. It was packed and we were lucky to find a table that accommodated the family. The staff were struggling to keep up with table cleaning, but food came quickly under the circumstances. All told, they handled it well, but clearly could have used extra hands. My partner's eggs benedict was slightly overcooked, which left her a bit annoyed, but the food was...
