Bay 66 Bar & Gaming Room — Restaurant in Wellington

I believe "The Bay" was the first "legal" bar to open in Kilbirnie followed by the Kilbirnie Tavern or "KT's" (now renamed Turbo Bar and then The Corner Bar. Have always found The Bay a pleasant place to enjoy a beer, friendly staff, plenty of seating plus "smoking area" somewhat protected to the weather. This place was supposed to open at 10 am. The barman knew I was waiting to top up my TAB account but didn't open until nearly 11 am. When I asked him why it was so late he literally punched me twice in the chest. AVOID THIS PLACE. I did NOT go to the turbo bar, definitely Bay 66. It was the barman who assaulted me. My partner came back from Bay66 really upset after watching the Melbourne Cup today (this was the second year work have gone out as a group).
