Had an incredible dinner experience at Rotorua Social Club! 🍽️

Indulged in their mouthwatering menu and tried some of their most delectable dishes.

The medium rare beef scotch fillet with garlic butter sauce was a flavor explosion, perfectly cooked and juicy. The tender pork ribs were a true delight, falling off the bone with each bite. The meatballs taco had a perfect blend of spices, creating a burst of flavors in every mouthful.

The seasonal vegetables with herb butter were a fresh and vibrant addition to the meal, beautifully complementing the rich flavors of the meats. The garden salad was crisp and refreshing, providing a lovely contrast to the savory dishes.

We washed down our meal with their house brew Pilsner and cider. 🍻🍎 The Pilsner is crisp and refreshing, while the cider is bursting with fruity goodness.

Saving the best for last, the custard pudding with anglaise sauce and velvety vanilla ice cream was a divine finale. The creamy custard was heavenly, and the sauce added a subtle sweetness. The combination with the cool vanilla ice cream was a match made in dessert heaven.

Overall, the dining experience at Rotorua Social Club was a true feast for the senses. Each dish was meticulously prepared and bursting with flavor. The combination of savory and sweet sensations left me completely satisfied. Can't wait to return for another unforgettable meal! 🌟...

So-so food. Insanely poor service! Our table came with a water glass with a lipstick stain. We asked the waiter for a replacement, but he didn't bring one until I asked him again. Our meal came out for only half the table, with the order for the rest of the table arriving 25 minutes later! When the second half of the order arrived, they got my son's order wrong despite double-checking with us after we ordered. He wanted a plain pork burger, which we clearly said "just the meat and bread. no toppings". When it arrived, there was a bunch of mayo on the burger. I'm not sure how mayo fits into the "just meat and bread" request. After that, the waiter ignored us. I had to go find him at the bar and request our check. I had seriously considered just walking out!

So this may be more of a case of an incompetent waiter rather than a restaurant issue, but since he was the only waiter there, then it's the restaurant's responsibility to make sure they put someone on the schedule who knows what they are doing.

This place was a huge disappointment. Would not recommend eating here. Started with my husband and I being seated incorrectly so we had to move. Entree took over 30mins (not exaggerating) after placing order. Working in hospo we know that it doesn't take that long to cook a small plate of calamari and some fried chicken bites.

When Entrees finally came out my husband was informed that the main he had ordered wasn't available. This was 40mins after he placed it. When mains came out the lamb was piping hot but the mash potato and broccoli was cold. Looked like mush on a plate. Husbands burger was just on average, but food very over priced for what you got.

No water on table so we had to ask for it. Only good thing was the cocktails which were amazing. If your looking for amazing cocktails then you've got the right place but you could find better food and service somewhere else.

Oh but there were also little bugs everywhere and dead ones on window...
