BodyFix Massage & Toi Mauri Rongoa — Local services in North Island

I had a unhappy experience here. I went travel to Rotorua and found this massage store had lots of stars and positive comments. So I booked the service at their counter in person at Monday night. I booked the service on Tuesday night which is time they highly recommend. But when I got there on time for my booking service, I found out that store had already closed. I made a phone call but no one answered. And then I tried to text them, got a reply that all the ladies went home because they tried to contact me to confirm my booking but didn’t get any reply from me. I told them actually I didn’t receive any phone call during the whole day. Finally they found out the reason was that they call the WRONG NUMBER!!!

We were looking forward to relaxing with massage here but the result was disappointed. When we booked the service at the counter, the lady told that we can just paid tomorrow, no need to deposit first. They didn’t tell me that if they cannot contact me to make a confirm, they would cancel my booking. The most unacceptable thing is, they told me they can only do massage for us on 6 pm because they were already fully booked the whole day! But when we showed up ON TIME, they had already closed!! Why? Don’t they have customers before us? Why close so early? If we got there late so they thought that we wouldn’t show up, we can understand it. But we even got there before 6 pm!

I believed that if we got a chance to do massage here, we would enjoyed in it. But the way and attitude they solved the problem for customer really...

Thoroughly enjoyed our Deluxe treatment for 2 today...my sister & I, we had the best hotstone massage then scrub and mud mask our backs felt soft and smoth, then we turned over and experienced the lovely honey mud facial with brow threading..which I had for the first time and live my new brows, and the footscrub during the mask was sensational,, all up a great value for money.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming and professional The setting is neat and comfy, the traditional music was very relaxing, the products smelled beautiful & we were given a bottle of water after our treatments...very happy & will deff be...

My friend and I had a wonderful experience at Bodyfix Rotorua. We both had a full body massage and facial. Both procedures were professional, thorough and luxurious. The ladies were kind and considerate. Booking and communication was easy and efficient.

The price we paid was very good value compared to what else was on offer in Rotorua this weekend.
