The Lakefront Playground in New Zealand is hands down the best playground we have ever experienced. The playground boasts modern and well-maintained equipment that is in pristine condition. It is evident that great care is taken to ensure everything is in top shape for children to enjoy. But what truly sets this playground apart is its breathtaking view of the lake. The scenery is simply awe-inspiring. Imagine playing on the swings or climbing structures while being treated to a picturesque backdrop of the lake. The sight of swans gracefully gliding across the water, helicopters soaring above, and boats cruising in the background adds an extra touch of magic to the whole experience. The combination of the fantastic playground equipment and the mesmerizing view creates a truly memorable and immersive playtime. It's a place where children can let their imaginations run wild while being surrounded by the beauty of nature. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this playground is an absolute must-visit. It will undoubtedly leave you with lasting memories of fun-filled adventures and the stunning scenery of the lake.

Very disappointing. Although unfinished, there's alot of untidy unusually shaped concrete strips, too narrow to be walkways, ugly! Decided the concrete 'steps' at water edge are to aid in collection of the stinky lake weed. Unsure what the stinky pond area inside the nice wooden walkway is for? Trapping the weed perhaps. No colourful flower beds, no suitable seating for elderly. Money would've been better spent on a basic upgrade & roading.

Wow rotorua you have certainly outdone yourself here. I have been coming here on family holidays for 35+ years every year and this is the best playground and beautiful facility. So proud to be a kiwi with infrastructure like this!

Took my 3 kids here (5, 4 & 4) and they had a great time. Take hats and sunscreen in summer as there isn't much shade over the playground itself and it gets super hot out there!

Plenty of space to run and play and the trees around the playground offer some beautiful shade! Take the kids bikes as there's plenty of flat paths to ride along the lakefront. It looks like it's just been done up and it looks amazing!

If there happens to be the Teariffic bubble milk tea food truck there then I recommend you visit him! I got an m&m milkshake supreme for my kids to share and a kit kat bubble waffle for myself. In the interest of safety I tested the kids one aswell and both were delicious. Support local and get yourself...
