Very disappointed with our visit this morning. Lovely location and atmosphere let down by less than satisfactory service. The food looked great, shame we didn't get to try it. Ordered coffee on arrival which was nice, had to approach counter 10mins later to place order as passing servers didn't stop to take it. 4 staff standing around talking amongst themselves, I had to ask if we needed a table number but was assured "I'll remember you!" (Make sure you get a table number!) 10mins later another couple arrived at the table next to us and had their food within 10mins. In total we waited 30mins and had to approach counter again to find out our order had not even been processed. Paid for our coffees then was given 2 free coffee vouchers on asking where I could make a complaint, nice gesture but could have been offered in the first instance when they realised their mistake. Shame as we've been waiting to visit...

We were terribly dissapointed with our dining experience. The seafood Chowder was cold and gluggy. Not a single piece of seafood in it as discribed on the menu. We returned it to the kitchen with our complaint only to have it returned heated through. Our lamb Shank mains were no better. The Potato was stiff, clearly instant mash. The Vegetables in the jar were comparable to rest home mush and the Shanks themselves were bland and tasteless. Was the Mint sauce out of a bottle? The waitress although pleasant ended up avoiding and at one stage just dumped our food on the table. We have been in the past and really enjoyed it, hence another visit. We will not be going again. The cost of the meal does not in any way reflect the quality...

My partner and I came in on one of their busy weekdays, only had an hour on our hands so expected to inhale and leave again by the time we got our food but we were happily surprised. We sat down and not even 10min later we got our food (Pancakes & Egg's Benedict) which was amazing too! We realised out loud we only had one set of cutlery and as I went to stand up a waitress popped around the corner with a cutlery tin as she'd overhead on her way past 😊 I again stood up a few min later as I had forgotten to ask for more Maple syrup and didn't make it to the till before a waitress took it upon herself and didn't even charge me for it either! Food was good, service was excellent...

I ordered the bacon and kumera salad , it was nothing like I had in my head that’s for sure 🤣 basic chopped iceberg lettuce was the bulk of it , some chunky tomatoes, little bits of kumera , little bits of bacon , Julianne cucumber and carrots , about three cranberry’s and 4 raisins with a honey mustard sauce in a little side dish …. I have made better salads at home and I’m not a chef 🫠 swapping out the ice berg for mesculin salad would be a good start , cherry tomatoes halved instead of great big chonky ones roughly chopped , some fresh herbs wouldn’t go astray, and bigger pieces of kumera . My sons pancakes were fantastic though!!!!

We visited this place for brunch on a busy Sunday morning, yet got our 4 meals and drinks very fast. The waitresses were smiley and helpful despite the high number of customers. Highly recommend this place for vegetarians/vegans or people with dietary requirements as there are plenty of tasty high protein options. I got the 3 egg scramble with haloumi and tomato. It was very filling, but rather bland. I would suggest getting a sauce on the side with this meal.

What a fun location! Parking is a challenge but the view and another of this space is fabulous! Warm, cosy, random Bach items are around the place! Be aware of credit card fees too tho! I ordered a moccachino & it was presented beautifully but even though it was a double shot it wasn’t very strong & I do like a strong brew! I wasn’t here to eat as I was concerned about the parking situation as there are limited free parks but what I was looked amazing!
