Adriatic Fisheries — Restaurant in Northland

We ordered for 4 people (4 pieces of snapper/1 scoop of chips) $38 total. Which I considered a steal considering how wonderfully the food was cooked. The fish was fresh, lightly battered and not greasy at all. The chips were also light, crispy and not dripping with excess oil. The staff working here are also fantastic, friendly and happy to answer questions. Will be back next time we’re in town from Auckland, I’ll be spreading word about this place among whānau...

Can not overstate how delicious the fish and chips were from here. Our 9 year old didn’t fancy the Thai we were getting so asked for snapper and a scoop. What an on-to-it kid. Such a decent portion and the taste - or should I say “TASTE” - was something else! I wished I’d forgone the Thai myself! Will have to be content with the small nibble I got until we are next in Whangarei. Mr 9 also passes on how lovely the staff were - kind and friendly. Ka...

I travelled for work from tauranga,,our accommodation was in whangarei on our 1st an last nite away..I heard the fish and chips were so nice so choose Adriatic fisheries as my go 2 place...I was not dissapointed..I was welcomed by a very lovely wahine...the service was very fast an plentiful..the food did not dissapoint,,,th burgers were generous and the fish was awesum,,the chips were perfectly done, I would go there again when I come...
