Kensington Tavern — Restaurant in Northland

The best scotch fillet steak meal i have ever tasted cooked to perfection and the staff were amazing with perfect customer service skills lovely manners fast on their feet and kept us very well informed. But that steak oh delicious and perfect mushroom sauce that wasnt just flavored it wash real mushrooms and they gave us complementary eggs for being 2 mins late...seriously! Now that is real customer service i was so impressed and i recommend to everyone i know to eat here...its affordable and the portions are more than generous and of great value, you wont be hungry when u leave...i recommend the scotch fillet steak meal with mushroom sauce and choccolate...

Yesterday my family hosted a surprise birthday luncheon for my 96yr old mother and 20 guests at the Kensington Tavern. It was by far the best venue for a birthday celebration with (3) platters of assorted foods served on a metre board that was more than enough food for everyone; specially prepared at a set price; and containers provided for guests to take home leftovers. We were able to provide our own table decorations along with flowers and balloons and our own birthday cake. We highly recommend this place as a wonderful dining experience, awesome food and excellent service. Grateful thanks to all the staff...

This is a pub with TV's dotted along 2 sides of the main room for the TAB races & sport with a separate Pokies room off 1 side. Some high bar stools and high tables with a few lower inset tables and bench seats along 1 wall. We go here once maybe twice a month because it has excellent meals and we can get a drink or 2 at the same time from the bar. Well patronised and if you have a group wanting a meal then would pay to ring and book ahead on some nights (toward the end of the week). Beginning of the week usually just walk on in and order and...
