McDonald's Papakura — Restaurant in Papakura

Just came back from here tonight & the guy on drive through, blonde/brown hair male, was so rude! I didn't know you couldnt do split payment on 2 cards my bad. I was speaking politely to him as I always do to people who serve me as I know what its like serving customers at a fast food joint cause I work at one so I always keep a good attitude & use my manners and MEAN it. This guy literally had a tone, was so rude and disrespectful I wanted to have a word with him but he was busy taking other orders so I said no its okay let him be. So 1) HORRIBLE customer service, just the one guy who took my order. 2) The food was horrible. The burgers weren't even hot! The burgers were lightly warm. I said no no ice in the drinks, cause it makes the drinks yuck and watery & every drink had ice (I got 2 $25 share boxes for my Fams). The fries had no flavor & wasn't fresh tasted like it was sitting there for a bit. The big macs had lettuce galore! Their burgers had no cares, no love, no pride in them! The cheese burgers were out of their wrappings and just shoved in the box. Now I hate complaining about fast food cause I know the work isn't all easy! But at my work, me, myself make sure I treat my customers respectfully ! (I don't make the burgers, but once I do, I'll be sure to have pride and love in them cause I'd want the same). Guys, I know its graveyard, I do the same. You're tired & your body's aching, but please, always have respect for your customers! Especially to the ones who are respectful towards you! I don't feel like coming back here, he spoke to me like I was an idiot for making a mistake. Dude, if you see this, smile a bit yeah? Have some respect ! I was so kind to you & you threw it right back in my face. Next time if I ever come back here, I will say something if I feel as if I'm being treated unfairly or the food isn't up to standard. And if you laugh at me like how other people have said cause we tell use the truth, be ready for some jabs of words flying your way because I do NOT tolerate...

This place was my favourite to go to and the one of the ones I visit often in a week. After getting my order wrong via drive through today has changed my mind.

SIMPLY I ORDERED 1 medium Frozen coke which is $1 And 1 medium Mcfloat which $2 TOTAL = $3:00 which I had paid in drive through

When receiving my order at first they had given both frozen large coke and large frozen blueberry. THIS WAS NOT MY ORDER so I simply asked them to change it but they had failed to listen and argued about the prices over the McFloat and them needing extra 50c for the drink saying its 1:50.

The lady that was talking to me looked liked the manager and instead of listening to their customer what was their order she argued over the prices of each thing and then the second time she changed the order to both frozen McFloats then I sent it back she continued to argue about the prices of each. HELLOO listen to the freaking order first.!!!!!!!!!!?????

ORDER WAS 1 medium frozen coke and 1 medium frozen Mcfloat GEEZZ couldn't even get that right.

At last she had SHUT the window on us instead of LISTENING.... and gave us our money asking us to go somewhere else.

Appalling and BAD customer service and people look like they are not even trained to do their jobs properly i.e. from talking to the customer to getting the customer order right. WHAT AN ATTITUDE THAT LADY HAD and they seem like they in a rush to give your order and seem very annoyed when you trying to talk to them regarding your order.

Being a regular customer I order pretty much the same stuff and know the value of the each thing I am receiving.

I would not even give them 1 star for the service which I had received today being a regular customer and now will discontinue to go there.

Don't have Maccas that much but if I do it's usually a NY Bagel from Takanini with extra Hollandaise Sauce if in the area. . No BAD comments there. In fact the opposite at Takanini McD's. Highly recommended.

This review is for the Sad Excuse of sauce allocation in my Bagel and Burger a week apart @ Papakura. After skipping breakfast I Decided to get a NY Bagel at Papakura as i was busy and needed a quick bite. Went through drive through asked for extra Hollandaise like i usually do. Long Story short, well shorter, ate Bagel prob 10 mins after buying. The wrapper was dry as if there was a drought. No evidence of sauce on the wrapper at all and could barely taste the sauce given.. so much so i opened Bagel to see if any and check receipt to see if wrote no sauce. said extra but Sauce was barely noticeable for one Bagel let alone the extra that i had ordered and paid for.. So i Decided to go back week later as in area again. Surely it was just bad luck. Apparently not. Decided to get a cheeseburger. Same Same. There was what felt like sample Sauce lol but the burger still tasted dry as if not enough sauce. I will not be coming back and I think the owner must be telling staff to skimp on the sauces. Drink was also what tasted like a diet Coke. Not original. In future I will go without or drive the extra to Takanini Mc D's who i usually go to.

Ps * Manu from Mastetchef Oz would be Apalled as he is all about the sauce and the amount of sauce. Afterall a meal can be ruined or praised on the amount of sauce given or not given. Just saying.
