If you fancy authentic French pastries, I highly recommend checking out La Voie Française on Dominion Road. During my recent visit, I was impressed with the excellent selection of goods available.
From croissants to eclairs, macarons, and other French delights, the bakery offers a wide range of options, all made with high-quality ingredients and crafted with care. It's clear that the bakers at La Voie Française are passionate about their craft and have a strong commitment to quality.
Unfortunately, during my visit, I learned that the bakery was temporarily closed due to staffing shortages. While this was certainly disappointing, I understand that these types of challenges can arise for any business. I look forward to returning to La Voie Française once they have resolved their staffing issues, as I believe they are truly exceptional.
Overall, based on my experience with their delicious goods, I would highly recommend a visit to La Voie Française on Dominion Road once they are back up and running. The quality of the pastries and the passion of the bakers is truly outstanding, and I'm sure you won't be...
Read moreAbsolutely disgusting service from the barista this morning! I ordered a single shot flat white, and I along with two other people seemed to be waiting forever! After the two people before me questioned where their order was,I too asked for my coffee to which she said she only had an order for a regular flat white that had been sitting there for about ten minutes! Instead of apologising and correcting the mistake she just kept repeating that she only had an order for a regular flat white and stared at me ignorantly expecting that I take a coffee that I didn’t order. I had to instruct her to make my coffee and she was again making out it was difficult..saying “I should be able to do that now” !!??!! She then proceeded to make a mocha for another customer leaving me waiting AGAIN! The entitled lazy attitude of this woman was a real eye opener. I’ve been a customer here for years, but I will never go back after being treated like a fool. If you are happy to take my money, I expect the service I paid for. As a side note, she had flies resting on the open milk tops and did nothing about that...
Read moreI was going to be in the area so I decided to stop by to grab some treats to go. The shop doesn't have very big signage so it can be easy to miss if you don't know its there. It is usually easy to spot due to the lines out the door. They have such a large selection of sweet and savoury items including caneles. There are three main display areas for pastries, sandwiches, and individual cakes. There was also a crepe station but that wasn't running. The top of the cabinets were also littered with baked goods. The bread is located at the back of the counter. I grabbed a canele, chocolate eclair and a praline croissant. All the items were really good particularly the canele. There are some chairs outside but I just took it away. The best part was the prices, which were very reasonable considering how nice they were. It is unsurprising they have long lines but the lines...
