As an Uber Eats delivery driver, I’ve had ongoing issues at Burger King Mt Roskill, especially during late-night hours (after 10 pm when dining is closed).
There is no bell or proper way to alert staff when we arrive to pick up food orders. We stand outside at the window, but staff can’t see or hear us — even knocking doesn’t work. Many times, I have seen the food bags already ready on the table, but they are forgotten because no one notices us waiting. We end up standing outside in the cold for long minutes, or having to walk through the dangerous drive-thru lane just to get their attention.
This delay means customers often receive their food late and cold, which risks bad ratings for us drivers even though it is not our fault. I’ve raised this issue politely with staff several times, but nothing has changed. Tonight, when I explained the problem again, the staff member told me they didn’t want a bell because it would be “annoying”. That is not an acceptable answer, and very disappointing. To make matters worse, I was unfairly rated badly simply for raising this concern.
I really hope management takes this seriously. A simple solution like installing a bell or proper driver pickup system would improve things for drivers, staff, and most importantly, customers who deserve hot...

Ordered double cheeseburger meals and super value meal. $34.95 Customer service polite and friendly guy, manager up front nice to see instead of being in the back. Food was fast as you would expect as x2 customers in line and 4 in dining area. Would be nice if the customer service extended out into the dining area as it was cold with air conditioning on and some of there tables had rubbish not cleaned as we were eating in, but a steady d/thru x1 person in the back and x1 in the front and the manager. Customer focus needs to be all round including customer convienece during the time in lobby no one came out to service lobby. Ambience cold, music video on low. Staff and manager were ok doing there jobs. Orders, take away or eat in, money exchanged and waiting on the side for your order to come up. No thank you, enjoy or a smile a grin yes and then they were onto the next order. Value for money if the portion of condiments were added on correctly not sprinkled to give impression of lettuce inside or a thick dose of sauce to make it taste but heavy. Nuggets dry. Dominion Road, only customer standing at counter and Noone at self-service kiosk. Fast-food service attendant could not find my order on her counter system and she demand me to put my orders again with the self-service kiosk. So annoyed fast-food service attendant refused to take my order when approached her in the beginning. 25 minutes I am still waiting for my order. I approached service attendant to let her know that it's not acceptable. No apology and explanation. I was given 5 bags and one servette between two adults, obviously I did not order at drive-thru. I'm very dissatisfied overall on Dominion Road Burger King. The taste of the ring onions in my 3 burgers, it's soggy. The bun size too small. The longest seated table with 2 chairs could fit another 6 more chairs is where I sat and not once got wiped down since arrived and while I ordered and when I ate, in total of one hour and half.
