Yi Cart Asian Supermarket — Local services in Puketāpapa

The stuff there is good quality and cheap. They also have a good range of stuff both Asian and none Asian. Good price compared to many other supermarkets. Alsolso have other stores like a Chinese bakery, butchery, hair dresser and fish stop.

A few issues.

1. it is very hot in there in summer. I would question the health and safety for the inside. I don't think there is central AC for the supermarket. The cashiers each have a fan but it is murder for the shopper. Makes you not want to be in there for long.
2. not the cleanest place for shopping especially when there is a hair dresser inside the shopping center.
3. parking is horrible. there are plenty of parking but it's quite bad. No one really follows instruction
4. a bit hard to find. it is behind the petrol station so you will need to go right in.
5. the drive way haven't been maintained for years from the looks of things. the speed bumps are broken and the road are not in the best quality.
6. I don't think anyone cleans the trolly and baskets. their either broken or very dirty.
7. getting out of dominion road is very difficult most of the time. I guess it's not really the supermarkets fault but it does make you question whether you want to go shopping there most days. Have to really find when it's not busy to go shopping. Highly DO NOT recommend going...

To be very concerned, don’t buy fish here in this place ( might be meat as well)

This is second time I had frustrated with them. Most of people come here for cheap prices including me ( I’m only come there for fish)

Literally THEY ARE selling RUTTEN FISH

Small tip - if you saw on special don’t buy it and take photos and send it to Auckland council. Or ask them why this is for special pricing definitely they say it’s yesterday fish. But it not true must be it was 1 week ago.

When freezing a meat on ( - degrees) it won’t rust, it’s only effect after you eat

I have did complain about this issue to Auckland council.

NOTE- check at least few time before buy, but even you ask infinity time Their answer only will be Chinese no...

-Overpriced products, prices are around 20-30% higher than other Asian Supermarkets.

-Not enough products range and Out of stocks on your asian essential products.

-Bad service, bad shopping experience in the meat department. My wife asked for our shopping potion(half kg) but only willing to sell the whole piece of meats over 1kgs, both ribs and pork belly. What is the point of having a butcher serving over the counter if you are not prepared and willing to serve to your customer's needs?

The entrance is hideous with cardboard hoarding between the checkouts and entrance path. Ridiculous.
