Mount Roskill Guesthouse — Hotel in Puketāpapa

I would not recommend staying here, I booked a room here for Ed Sheeran, only to arrive and find the place locked with none present. There was a group of around 7 who arrived as well! Took an hour later for someone to arrive and indicate what was going on, 9 people in a 3 bedroom house was not going to work!! Apparently, the owner was in London, yet someone from the group of 7 spoke to him the day beforehand. He identified with two different names and had a variety of phone numbers. Was unimpressed with essentially being scammed. The toilet did not work, there was mold and water damage in the bedroom. I ended up staying in my booked room as I was unable to find other accommodation due to the concert. Overall, would not recommend, spend your money elsewhere as refunds were not given to myself or I presume the other group. Defiantly look into where you...

This is a scam. This guy asks for money in advance and charges different amounts to different people and charges a ridiculous amount of NZD 120 as cleaning charges. I booked this accommodation and when I got there I found few other people who have been waiting for a few hours already trying to get hold of someone to show them in. Property condition was similar to that of an abandoned place. It looked like property hadnt been cleaned for ages... doors were open there was no one to receive. Dirty and used plates lying outside. Cant believe this guy robbed us off NZD 539. This guy doesnt even stay here in NZ. He is sitting somewhere in UK playing with people's credut card numbers. People...

We were a little concerned with the houses location as it was in the Mount Roskill are; however, it couldn't have been further from the truth. We booked the house as a group for the All Blacks game at Eden Park and were shocked at how easy it was to get to and from the venue. Additionally, getting to the city centre was a piece of cake with three transport lines going to the city centre along with a night rider bus service until 3AM we were never lacking for enjoyment....
