This place would be way more fun if there was less talking and more food. I already tried their food but everytime I go there, this annoying woman just stands I'm front of the truck and tries to talk to you and never stops! She would read out the whole menu to you even when you know what you want to order. There's no escaping her Just read the room? Not everyone is willing to socialize 12 in the midnight. Even when I knew what I was going to order I had to waste my 10-15 minutes just tryna answer her questions. She took the order and I was supposed to pick it up in 10-15 minutes. When I come back she told me to wait for just 2 more minutes while she obviously continues making pointless conversations with other people. But I ended up waiting for another 20 minutes, and even when she handed me over the food she said wait I'll get you some onions too. Why was it not already there in the bag after all this?? If you can't deliver something atleast don't overcomit. Not to mention, their Dosas are the worst, never had such pathetic excuse for...
Read more👎👎👎Do not waste your money on this food truck. Last week, I went there, and we ordered fully loaded puffs, Mysore Chutney Dosa and Pav Bhaji. I wish I could say at least one was good, but unfortunately, they all were terrible. Pav Bhaji tested like it was straight from the ready to eat box. It did not taste like Pav Bhaji ( we had two bites, and the rest went in the bin ). Dosa was nice and crispy, but coconut chutney was sour, and the red chutney was average. I had my puff at the end, hoping that it would be nice but another disappointment. I do not recommend this place. 👎👎👎
Reply to your reply: Unfortunately, you saw it wrong, we threw 80% of food away because the taste was horrible, and we did not enjoy it. I was not going to complaint about it when everyone was standing trying to order. Take customers' reviews a little bit personally and try to change the quality and taste of your food rather than fighting against the reviews. I wonder why food trucks around you got good reviews and you got only 3.6 star average. Strange!! I wish...
Read moreWe finally stopped at the cute little van on Stoddard Road Mumbai Dosa Express’ after driving past it multiple times, and it did not disappoint. I tried the dahi bala, which was an explosion of flavors, and the balas were the softest I’ve ever had. The friendly and passionate chef, Pooja, recommended the Mysore masala dosa, which was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of spice, as we requested. While takeaway is available, enjoying authentic Mumbai street food right there, sitting on the cute little chairs, was an experience in itself. Fully vegetarian and absolutely delicious, I highly recommend giving it a try. I have to admit, I was so eager to dig in that I forgot to take any pictures...
