Disappointed Regular – Standards Have Dropped

I've been a regular customer at this place for a long time, but today was a huge disappointment. It seems like the shop is now under new management, and unfortunately, the quality and professionalism have dropped significantly.

There were two new staff members — one at the cashier who didn’t even ask what salad or sauces I wanted, and another in the salad/kitchen area. I clearly said no onion on my kebab, yet he still added it. Then he realised the mistake and shockingly just put the onion back into the tray. The same thing happened with my second order lamb on rice. I said no hummus, but he added it to the salad anyway, and again, scraped it back into the shared tray for other customers. I mean... seriously? Where is the hygiene? That’s unacceptable.

This shop used to be very clean, especially around the sauce and salad section everything used to be tidy and well-organised. Now it just looks messy and careless.

Also, the portion sizes have dropped. The lamb on rice used to come in a full container now it’s barely half. The chips I ordered weren’t cooked properly, no salt, just bland and soggy. And the chicken was extremely salty, almost inedible.

Boss man has hit the nail on the head with this one. The meat to chips/rice ratio is phenomenal. Not like other kebab places where they give you a strand of chicken and the rice/chips is occupying the majority of the meal. Meat is made with pure love and it shows when your mouth starts to water before u open the package. The Special sauce. Where do i even start with the special sauce. Words cannot describe how divine the sauce is. The special sauce itself is what sets Tasty Kebab apart from all other kebab vendors. Customer service is unbelievable, when the boys pull up for a meal Boss man is already grilling the chicken before we enter the door. I wish i could give more...

I haven’t been here in a little while, so I checked the reviews and the last review wasn't very good.

Not sure why their experience was bad but it is just as good as it always has been in my opinion. I ordered lamb on rice with added feta. It was a good size meal and everything fresh as always!

I also really enjoy the homemade chunky falafel from here which are unbeatable at $2! They also always give a free sauce for your fries or falafel if you ask.

Always found Tasty kebab to be good honest value, always clean and simple kind customer service. I’ve found they never try to rip you off and with very average food like a lot of kebab shops.
