Easy flat walk that took me 1.5 hrs return around the whole lagoon. There’s a southern and northern circuit. The northern one brings you around the entire lagoon, whereas the southern one just goes along the south end of the lagoon.

After 20min from the start point you will see a fork where you can either choose to go left along the bridge or right along the golf course. Both bring you to the lagoon and are equally flat and easy.

When you reach the lagoon you can either choose the southern circuit or the northern one. It takes 30min longer if you do the northern one but it’s worth the walk. Both circuits let u see the same mountains, but the northern one brings you along the length of the lagoon which is pretty awesome too, you can see black swans...

This is an easy flat walk around Glenorchy Lagoon, only issue is you will be walking under the scorching hot sun 🌞 and narrow broadwalk.

The actual track starts only crossing a small bridge, that's about 10 minutes walk from the waterfront car park. The view along the Dart River was soothing. The main outlook was beautiful and peaceful, unfortunately viewing deck is small, unable to accommodate more than 3 persons. There are a number of beautiful view points if you have the time to complete the Northern circuit. The path was well maintained but the elevated broadwalk is a bit narrow for 2 persons to...

Very peaceful and quiet trail, we have met only a couple of people. You can choose either longer circuit which takes around 2 hours or a shorter one which takes around one hour.

The walk itself is quite nice amd terrain is very easy, there are parts on wooden boardwalks. I really liked the views of the nature around. The lakes/lagoons are not that impressive and seemed quite dry when I visited them.

It is free of charge to access the trail as well as parking.

I parked close to the lake and there are couple of parking lots around, so you shouldnt have a problem...
